Manor Lakes Community Fund
Community groups in the City of Wyndham are invited to apply for the Dennis Family Corporation’s Manor Lakes Community Fund – an initiative which has distributed more than $225,000 to local community projects over the past decade.
The Manor Lakes Community Fund is an annual commitment of the estate’s project manager, Dennis Family Corporation, which recognises the important role community groups play in connecting people and fostering community spirit.
This year, a total of $20,000 is available for not-for-profit groups who have been operating in the area for more than 12 months. Groups can apply for one-off financial grants of either $500 or $1000.
Previous recipients have included local sporting and recreation clubs, youth groups, environmental action groups and community support initiatives, with the funds going towards the purchase of uniforms, sporting equipment, books, food and events that are linked to the services provided by the groups.
Applications for the fund will open on Monday, July 4 and close at 5pm on Friday, August 12. An independent panel will assess all applications and successful applicants will be notified in September and invited to the Manor Lakes Community Fund 2016 presentation evening at the Manor Lakes Land Sales Centre in mid-October.
How to apply
To be considered for a grant, groups must complete an application form available from the Manor Lakes Land Sales Office at 2 Eppalock Drive, Manor Lakes, by phoning 9731 0277 or by completing the online application form.
Completed applications must be returned to the Manor Lakes Land Sales Office, or via email firstname.lastname@example.org by no later than 5pm on Friday, August 12.
