We're all for progress

As many residences may have noticed, there is much activity around the Ison Road and Ballan Road intersection, with civil works commencing over the last few weeks on this eagerly awaited section of road and intersection into Manor Lakes.

These works, at a cost of $6.1M and generating many job opportunities, are in conjunction with VicRoads and Wyndham Council and will open a main arterial route from Ballan Road in the northern section of Manor Lakes and beyond; supporting traffic flow in neighbouring roads, reducing driving times in and around the estate, providing safe and easier access to key areas of current and future amenities within Manor Lakes.

The four-way intersection will enable not only access into the Manor Lakes side of Ison Road from Ballan in both directions, it also commences the northern section of Ison Road into surrounding areas. The project is set to be completed and opened to the public in early 2022 subject to final VicRoads and Wyndham Council approval.

A second, smaller project has also commenced to another section of Ballan Road, which forms part of a larger scope of civil works within the estate, which once complete will allow direct access to Wyndham Vale train station.

The total project costing $3.6m will not only see the intersection of Commuter Boulevard and Ballan Road finished, but it will also deliver several internal roads in the area which will connect to Commuter Boulevard, network of roads and footpaths for residents through to the existing station carpark.

There will be some road disruptions whilst the works are undertaken however, Dennis Family Corporation will work with Council and Vicroads to ensure traffic is safely managed during the construction period.

The project is set to be completed and opened to the public in early 2022 subject to final VicRoads and Wyndham Council approval.  Regular updated with be provided via the website, newsletters and social pages.
